Georgia. Vartsikhe hydroelectric power plant

Put into operation in 1972.

Upgrade of Hydroelectric Unit No. 2 at HPP-1 with complete generator replacement, upgrade of the regulation system and automated operation system. At the same time the increase in capacity is 3 MW.

• Turbine – ПЛ20-В-500;
• Capacity – 23,800 kW;
